Just Hatched

This six-week class provides moms with resources and connections to feel supported in their transition to motherhood. The class is for moms and their infants 0-5 months and will meet weekly for 90 minutes. It is facilitated by a postpartum doula who is passionate about creating a safe space to discuss important postpartum topics with local experts offering guidance. Topics include:

• Transition to motherhood

• Feeding, sleep and infant care

• Supporting developmental milestones

• Mental health for mom

• Physical recovery and renewal for mom

Most importantly, the class will connect moms in the same phase of life to share in the joys and challenges of being a mom. Motherhood was not meant to do alone.

Fall 2026 Class Information

• Tuesdays - 12:00-1:30 p.m.

• October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 3, 10

• Registration fee for six-week class - $120

• Class is limited to 12 participants.

• Class is held at Tuneful Journey, North Grand Mall - Ames, Iowa
